In Boston, I used to love spending time at Julien, the now-closed restaurant/piano bar at the Langham Hotel in Boston. It was my go-to spot for drinks with my friend Leslie — such fun! Call me an old soul, but there’s something magical about places like Bemelmans Bar on the Upper East Side or The Duplex in the West Village. Did they inspire Glee? I’m not sure. I do know that they inspire people to find their inner diva, their voice! The question is — what song would you sing?
