Such pretty snow scenes from the city that never sleeps! I love how even the pace of New York City slows down with the weather. On that note, I’m off to Miami for a four day weekend to toast my ‘friend’-iversary with my BFF. It’s a Glamour magazine-inspired idea: last April, in their friendship issue, they suggested setting aside time to celebrate your friendships, just like you would with any important relationship in your life. When will the snow stop? As we dig ourselves out from yet another snowy/rainy/wintery mix, it’s nice to daydream about warmer weather and this nautical-inspired Malaga Tote from Calypso St. Barth. Awards season is here! And there’s no awards show I love more than the Golden Globes. Film and TV people mixing together, the musical comedy category, alcohol being served — it’s all so fun to watch! This year, I was thrilled to see The Social Network, The King’s Speech and The Kids Are All Right do so well. And the fashion? Tres jolie! In my book, the ladies in pink stole the show. What do you think — would you buy Ferris Bueller‘s home? If so, now’s your lucky day: the infamous Highland Park home on the North side of Chicago is officially on the market, with the glass-enclosed garage completely in tact. Remember the scene in the film where Cameron (played by Alan Ruck) has a nervous breakdown after discovering the increase in mileage on his dad’s Ferrari after Ferris’ day off from school?
