I made the mistake of browsing in J.Crew on my walk home from work this week. It got me so excited for fall. Even though I’m not heading back to school, I always get that rush of a new beginning and a fresh start when I see crisp, new fall fashions in the windows of my favorite stores. It inspired me to go home and start making a list of the staple items I need to update and invest in this fall. A navy jacket, a peplum dress, polka dots — all are on my list.
