Books Page: Summer Reading

Have you read any good books lately? These two are next on my list:

1) My Paris Dream by Kate Betts. The author is a former editor for Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. This book chronicles her early days living in Paris after college when she set out to become a glamorous foreign correspondent — and master French slang, style and savoir faire along the way.

2) In the Unlikely Event by Judy Blume. In this highly anticipated novel — her first in 17 years — Blume revisits a time she directly experienced in the early 1950s when three planes crashed over eight weeks in her hometown.

And because it’s absolutely one of my favorite books ever, I’ve decided to re-read Where’d You Go, Bernadette? by Maria Semple. I read it two summers ago and couldn’t put it down.

Would love to know what’s next on your summer book list!
