What do you remember most about your high school prom? Such a milestone occasion at the age of 17! Tonight, I get to re-live this magical moment, thanks to a very clever fundraiser hosted by 826NYC. But “The Prom You Were Promised” isn’t your average corsage- and taffeta-wearing night out. In fact, this prom is hosted by SNL‘s Jason Sudeikis and DJed by Yeasayer, BAIO from Vampire Weekend and more. What a great excuse to get all gussied up! Even better? It’s for a good cause — funds raised by 826NYC are dedicated to helping students ages 6 to 18 with their creative writing skills.
