Lady Like by Essie

Last night, a manicure seemed to be the only cure to what had previously been a very long day! Do you ever feel like you can’t type fast enough when it comes to keeping up with emails, texting and work? My secret solution seems to be a fresh coat of polish. I always feel more put together when my nails are done! I’m happy to report that I’ve discovered my go-to nail color for fall. Lady Like by Essie is soft and pale, a neutral hue that still provides a subtle pop of a purple-y pink. What do you think? Do you like this shade? If not, what fall color are you planning to wear?

History of a relationship by Zagat

Have you ever thought about painting a portrait of a relationship based on the places you’ve dined together? That’s exactly what this New Yorker story suggests doing, and I have to say, I love the idea. Mostly because it requires you to look back and focus on the individual moments you and another person have shared. Whether you remember the history of your dining experiences with your best friend, sister, parent or significant other, it’s fun to think back to the conversations (and food!) you’ve had.
