Happy weekend dear readers! Did you have a nice week? I’m trying to savor the last few weeks of summer by doing some only-in-New-York things. My big plan is to make it to Governor’s Island and do a bit of exploring. Have you ever been? I went in June to check out the Jazz Festival, but know there is so much more to see. How delicious and refreshing does the ice cream bar pictured above look? Talk about the perfect summer treat, just in time for a hot and steamy August! I love the expressions on the kids’ faces as they devour their cones, each one filled with their own selection of candy and fruit toppings. The raspberries and gummy bears would be my biggest weakness — the rainbow sprinkles too. What is your favorite ice cream topping?
